Name Origins

Well, seeing as some people on this forum have extremely strange names *cough*triz*cough* :P I thought it would be interesting to hear where everyone's Username comes from. Mine is fairly obvious, last name is Hodge, and Podge just kind of goes with it :P

i call myself psychopat because my name is pat, and kids at school called me psychopat. *as in psychopath* they were trying to make fun of me but i liked the name.:P

Tsuyu - the rainy season in Japan.

I have absolutely no idea why I picked it. I guess I started using it somewhere, and now it is something I can easily remember so I use it on a lot of websites, just out of habit.

Sephiroxas = Sephiroth (From Final fantasy 7) + Roxas (Kingdomhearts II)

I'll explain my name again, i did this eons ago and the thread got destroyed. However, i'm not going to make Hexi wear her frowny face this time.

My name was a creation i decided to use for 3 reasons
1. Its my Favourite Bird.
2. It's the Celtic Goddess of War's Chosen Form.
3. Is the one that made hexi wear a Frowney Face. Why?
I originally used Jano Ravan as the name for my first charater on Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic. It would probably have faded and never been used again but, its remakable close to the name Revan The Sith Lord in the game who is my fave Star Wars Character.

When I explained that here the first time i didn't use spoiler making Hexi edit and wear her frowny face at my spoilage of a game.

er...right, I really don't know how I got my name :lol: Well, the Lion is my favorite animal, it's just such a cool creature in the fact that it's very sly and rogue, but it attacks like no other. So I thought a good name would be Lionhead, based on the gaming company behind Fable , B&W, etc....so yeah :lol: that's about it.

I got Tex from just an original cowboy term. I always thought gunslingers kicked *** because they could fire a revolver in the blink of an eye, and kill their opponents quickly but with percision.

Now, that all sounds cool and all, but that's really not how it happened. The name just popped into my head, and I stuck with it...it's a name that no one else has, so if you ever see me on a forum..yea, that's me :lol:

I had to come up with a name fast so I through shadow as in shadow Link and knight as in well heavily armored warrior lol

shadow also came from me favoring the dark side in all games that offer this option.

My name is Tricks. I put Triz because it makes it sound like I'm getto. lol. People call me Tricks because I'm the best at doing tricks on basketball. I can make anyone look the other way. I'm the best at my school and things like that. Thats how I got my name. HodgePodge is right, its odd. lol. But What is a hodge podge? PM me

Well you see the word "fable" means a short tale to teach a moral lesson, often with animals or inanimate objects as characters. It comes from the Latin word fabula, which means to orate a tale or story.

Freak is defined as any abnormal phenomenon or product or unusual object, and comes from the Old English word frīcian, meaning to dance.

After considering these many factors I decided that putting the two words together would create a perfect name for someone like myself who is indeed a Freak for Fable. Hence FableFreak was born...

well till i got banned from runescape, i was trying to legally change my name to El Barto. so it WOULD have been El Barto578. i wanna talk bout that name instead of Ruler of albion, since thats fairly simple.
el barto cause i love simpsons. and 578 cause my name is scott william hamilton. in accordance to the number of letters in each. i use that 578 thing almost everywhere.
but now i am shagan, dwarf hunter. from WoW. hail me

Mine came up at the spring of my mind one day. I was making a username and i Thought Cave with a K would look cool.. so.. yah.. im stupid lol

pronounce it however u want, i got like 3 diff sounds for my name when people on ventrilo talk to me, cave, cav'eh etc
