natal kenect thing

i dont like the idea of natal/ kenect in fable 3 but with this touch it could be intersting what other things can people think of that may involve the use of natal/ kenect

though little has been specified, i have gathered it will take place of most of the "hit A button to..." commands
holding someones hand, opening doors, carrying people, making expressions, the works.

it's really just an alternate approach to a relatively minor aspect of the game if you ask me.

What I'm feeling nervous about is inaccuracy of the body motion readings. Say for instance I want to softly stroke my wife's cheek. I reach forward to perform said action and Kinect recognizes it as me punching her in the face.

that just proves that natal is unnecessary for fable III. what kind of fabler doesn't beat their wife already??? it's just spending extra money to lay down the law without a controller.... silly microsoft.

I don't think anyone said they didn't like it. They were just saying of what they feared would come with it.

What is wrong with discussing Kinect and pointing out possible flaws? If you don't like the discussion, don't respond to it.

It would have been more appropriate, say, if someone was saying "dude, kinect is ****, don't buy that crap."

Cheez was just pointing out a possible marketing flaw, and HeroOfCrapsalot was just pointing out a possible functionality flaw. Do we have to praise it as a Godly creation or we aren't allowed to discuss it?

i was reading an article with Pm oh btw I’m aussie so I might be behind on stuff you already know (Freaking no R18 laws) and he said that most of the game play would be with a controller and he wasn’t aloud to discuss the implements of Natal until Microsoft says all a ok. But like grabbing people in fable 3 with the touch system with natal sounds cool man to quote the man himself.

sometimes australia is awesome but politics here suck we have a 70% majority that says we want a better classification system and its taken 8 years for the govermnet to even accept that fact (sorry off topic rant)

To be on topic, I bet Fable 3 will have a fairly limited range of Kinect uses so the sales aren't limited to Kinect owners. It'll probably be something like spinners one your tires if you know what I mean. An aesthetic touch and a test drive for kinect's future at the same time.
