hey guys im trying to install fable right now but when i try i get the error code 1628: failure to complete installation.

what is this and how do i get my comp to install fable again? if it matters i am using vista and recently performed a system recovery

First thing i found was:

Installshield Error 1628: Failed to complete script based install

Have to take into consideration that ive had a decent amount to drink though. :lol:

I thought you had the numbers wrong, sorry

That error usually only comes up when there are corrupt files somewhere (Not on the game disc)

The only solution I know of, unfortunately, is to reinstall Windows
