Uh.... You can get the Chicken Suit for Free.... Do the puppet show on Http://www.fable2.com It takes a few minutes and if you pick the big crown you get it. It seems easy.

Plus, once you take it out of the chest in the Chamber of Fate the individual pieces are occasionally found for sale at clothing shops for dirt cheap. Just a matter of taking less than ten minutes to do the online thing.
