Need help with modding

can someone throughly explain all this modding stuff????? like i want to be really skinny in fable not buff, but i don't know how. I dont get the stuff about bones, and how do i add chairs and beds to the picnic area and such???? plz someone tell me how to do all of this i am new to Fe. I am also wondering how to make your character like a balverine or look like your sister. Ive tried, but then it makes the eyes look weird and ur weapons are at the bottom of ur butt.....plz help!!!:'(

I'll refer to the New to modding fable? thread in general, since you'll find more info there. You're questions have been answered before. It would be crazy to explain it all here.

Anyway; when you start modding you'll need two things:
1. Backups of your gamefiles in case something goes wrong.
2. Time and patience to read and learn.

Delete the hero_strong.bncfg from the list of links to .bncfg files in the CHeroMorphDef
[CREATURE -> #1470 CREATURE_HERO -> CDefs -> CHeroMorphDef]

You have to change the eyes and scale of the eyes to be the same as your sister's, also delete the links to expressions from the Hero's CCreatureDef, linky.

ty, but the balve thing didnt work, i opened it onto fe but now im stuck

Again: read the New to moddin Fable? thread.

Lesson 1
Make backups of your gamefiles!!!
You don't have to, but I'd recommend to do this when you start messing with them.
Of course you can always reinstall the game, but that takes a lot more time then replacing the screwed files with the backups.

Files to backup:
Game.bin
Script.bin
Text.big
Textures.big
Graphics.big
Effects.big
FinalAlbion.wad

By default these files can be found in the subfolders in:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Fable - The Lost Chapters\Data

How to make a backup:
Click one a file once. Press 'ctrl' and 'c'. Then press 'ctrl' and 'v'.

ok. but how do i upload the balve thing and everythinh

and were are the subfolders?

and how do i download albion explorer i tried and it didnt work, once it loaded it said something about wod files or somthin.......

ok...i think i managed to get albion explorer alright....but i dotn no how 2 use that

Read the readme that comes with the mod, and follow the steps.

Can't tell you more - I didn't make the mod, and never used it.

If you havn't used the FreeRoam app yet - you'll have to do that or use this version of the mod.

Briar, go to free roam setup. Its stickied so its easy to find, its one of those green topics, look for freeroam setup :/

I Didnt find Anything to help recolor stuff and now Im wodering if there is a way 2 Make a Weapon of your own in the way it looks
