New DBZ Title To Wii And PS2

DBZ fans will be happy today with the official announcement of Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and it will feature 20 new characters, including Nail, King Cold and King Vegeta, which brings the total cast of characters over 150. Atari have promised an "improved Wii control system" after the lackluster and unresponsive one featured in last Budokai Tenkaichi.

They also revealed there will be 20 new battle stages which will incorporate a new night and day system that will allow players to harness the power of the moon to transform their characters.

PS2 Version will be released in August and Wii version is just set for autumn release.

Let... the.. freaking PSII Rest in Peace! Seriously, stop making crappy versions of new games for the PSII - I'm sick of it. Whatever you do, do not buy the PSII version - you'll be dissapointed, it wont look like screenshots/trailers... trust me I know...:'(

PSII and Wii aren't the same generation of consoles, it makes no sense to the same game for both well, of course to Sony it makes sense... but God knows what makes sense for Sony...

I like the wii and all, but DBZ games don't work well on it. I've seen my friends play it.

PSII and Wii aren't the same generation of consoles, it makes no sense to the same game for both well, of course to Sony it makes sense... but God knows what makes sense for Sony...

Just shows though that even though they arent the same generation the last Tenkaichi was actually better on the PS2. It was visually about the same and the controls on Wii version were terrible (which they are promising to fix)

I would like to see an RPG style one on 360 and next gen consoles.

I like the wii and all, but DBZ games don't work well on it. I've seen my friends play it.

Oh the Wii is horrible.:lol:

The only games that are really funny on it is those who are especially designed for it, like Rayman's Raving Rabbits.

It looks rather promising, but chances are it will only last long enough to hold fans off until the next trilogy installment that's planned for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Personally, i was really looking forward to a 360 version: bigger explosions, endless stage arenas, and much better graphics, not to mention custom soundtracks/BGM. But oh well. Guess it wasn't meant to be, especially since Tenkaichi 3 is the last Tenkaichi game to be released.

Garlic Jr was in the last Tenkaichi (Tenkaichi 2) so he will feature in this one. Maybe his henchmen will as they already have LOTS of characters in it and have 20 new ones and im struggling to think who else they could add.

I have got them both, both are good games. First has a few camera angle issues and some flaws but most have been addressed in the 2nd and they are both good games.
