New Fable Fact

I was reading the april issued game informer a little late this month. Here is what i stumbled upon.

Co-op interaction doesn't stop with simple combat rewards. During the GDC demo where Molyneux was playing as a famale hero, he finally returned home after six months of adventuring only to be chewed out by his husband for being away so long. Sick of the domestic dispute, Molyneux's co-op sidekick shot the husband and went into a fit of laughter as the young son ran away into the woods. With the door open for this sinister level of interaction between characters, we don't recommend anyone inviting Joe over to play.

Well, it's not exactly hot off the press, but it is new and interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you can do in co op.

Cool! I haven't heard of that one before. So you can shoot just anyone? In Fable, you couldn't even have weapons in certain towns. I hope you can keep your weapons everywhere.

We're thinking that there will be a feature that lets you protect your world from change when you play co op. Sort of like a safe mode.

Sounds pretty darn cool to me! I'm really looking forward to seeing just how deep the co-op system in Fable 2 really is.

We're thinking that there will be a feature that lets you protect your world from change when you play co op. Sort of like a safe mode.

I figure it will be something along the lines of "striking them down before they do anything too stupid."

But it is an interesting issue, seeing as I won't have to get my hands dirty as to taking out my wife(or perhaps husband *dramatic music stab*).

sorry if i wasted you time.. when i expressed my concern in the "co-op" thread, nobody posted any sources so i thought there had been no proof posted here until now.

The co op the was demeonstrated is not online. It's couch Co op!

Well in fable 2 they have taken the every action has a consequence up again and this time they are serious about it, if you trash a small village/camp it will later on become ruins, if you on the other hand decides to help it, it can grow into a city. The co-op thing was something that was dropped in fable 1, and you find some traces of it in FE, the thing that is different with fable 2's co-op is: All the xp, money (maybe even items) gained in another players world, you can take home to your own world/singleplayer game. (you invite someone to your world and you play from the current point your character is in)

To me it sounded like this was a new way to mix singleplayer and multiplayer into one thing.

I am pretty sure that there is both couch Co-op and online co-op because recent videos show the online co-op and older videos show couch co-op

Well system link co-op will be the same as online co-op (I think)

what?? As I got it you started a game, in that game you could invite other players into your world.

I hope they integrate it smoothly, and knowing Lionhead, they will.
