New projectego.net Layout! Feedback Required!

Hi guys,

Just launched the new 3-column layout (linkage). Please be sure to take a look and let us know what you think! Hopefully you'll find the new layout much easier on the eyes, easier to navigate, just generally an improvement over the previous one.

it's interesting.. Getting used to it being back and all but over all everything seems to run really smoothly From what I can Tell.

I Like the new template, but i miss the recently post feature. other than that it looks clean and smooth.

Jst a suggestion, but you should make a Good and Evil Template. ^_^

I wouldn`t be suprised if this problem is only on my PC... and I don`t use that main page anyway.
PS don`t tell me to use Firefox, because I can`t - it crashes on certain sites and unfortunately, projectego.net is one of them.

Wow, this layout is very neat. I love the forum skin and the banner very much.

It does not look like a vBulletin homepage, though like one of the SFM sites you run. Why is that?

I would totally love that. Seriously. In fact, let me know what you guys think of the skin on this site and I'll see if I can port it over with three columns. That would make for an idea "evil" skin, in my opinion.

+rep x100! You've found the first bug! I did already know about it but the fact that you reminded me is a good thing! Sadly, though, it's not something I can fix easily. IE6 renders pretty much everything screwy. And I have no way of testing the skins in IE6 on my notebook because I'm on Vista (only allowed to use IE7 and up). I know you don't want to switch to Firefox, but have you considered upgrading to IE7?

Funny you shoulkd say that this site looks like it was using SMF. I actually designed the themes on the SMF sites to look like vBulletin forums ^_^ Glad you like the layout, though!

No problem there, actually. I`m too lazy to upgrade to IE7 (which I should`ve done a long time ago) or reinstall FireFox (should fix the crashing issues). But as I said, I don`t use the main page so it doesn`t bother me.
Oh btw, FireFox didn`t crash with the old skin... at first, I thought the problem was in the skin, but there are more sites my FF refuses to accept (Neoseeker for example).

I would like to add one more thing.

It seems a little to bright for me and after looking at it for a while my eyes start to strain.

Other than it being a bit to bright I like it alot, really brings out the Fable feeling.
