New PSP Model Coming

Seems Sony arent happy with just making 'another' slimmed down PS2, they are taking this idea to its handheld range also. They are apparently working on a slimmer, lighter PSP with extended battery life and hi-definition video output to TVs. Seems strange that they would do this though with PSP sales not going to well and them losing money from PS3 also, remaking PS2 and also PSP...

The PSP hasnt had a good run of games on it for a long time, if at all and it has a lot of potential that isnt being used. Seems they are trying to take the PSP down the entertainment alleyway and steer it more towards watching movies etc on them.

cool, i wanna psp now....but i rather have a 360.....do u think the might make a psp2? like with improved graphics and such? i heard there making a DS2 it will have jusst as good graphic as gamecube.and it will be slimmer and a larger screen ect...i think ill find some info and make a thread on it....btw nice find and plus rep

Wow instead of trying to improve the ps3 they make a new model for the psp.

i cant see a difference???? my psp is nearly 3 years old and i cant tell a difference between that and mine????

Not much point in improved GFX as PSP is capable of PS2 GFX and improved GFX from PS2 is PS3.

The PSP has been doing quite well actually. I liked mine but I prefer a console and TV. I sold it and used the $ to get the :360:

Aha! Just as I predicted, Sony sales goin downhill! The PS3 was a BIG mistake. It's pretty mucha ps2 with better stuff in it.

They're not the only ones doing new models of consoles. The 360 Elite, for example. THe DS Lite (Which I despise since it means I can no longer by things for my original DS, oye). Sony may be going downhill, but I don't think this is an example. It is annoying though. I'm tired of new models >_<"
