Rockstar has unexpectedly confirmed that there will be more DLC on the way for their hugely successful Western title Red Dead Redemption. They have been busy with publishing Team Bondi's L.A. Noire which also took the gaming world by storm on release and have recently released the first DLC pack for that 'the Nicholson Electroplating' case.
The news came when a fan asked on twitter when we would be seeing more DLC for Red Dead Redemption and received the reply 'Look for a release date and details in the coming weeks'.

Cool, shame it has been so long since i last played the game, I haven't even grabbed the zombie DLC which looks to be a total blast. Got lots of free time ahead so I'll definitely be jumping back into it.

The Undead Nightmare is really good and enjoyed it from start to finish, its an interesting change of pace from the original game and quite tough in parts. Looking forward to seeing what new DLC they have in mind, my friend currently has my copy but i shall be getting it back when this is released.

Y'know what I think would be awesome? if Rockstar made a DLC about Marston's younger days back when he was rolling with Dutch's gang. It would give a good opportunity to see first hand what gave those lads such a bad name for themselves, also it would give good insight into how Marston's relationship with Abigail developed as well as Dutch Van der linde's descent into madness and betrayal. Missions like robbing banks and busting outlaws out of jail would be right up my street, plenty of vandalism too. :D

I agree. Red Dead Redemption felt so refreshing for me. I love that game to the point it made me play a Console. Haha.

I would love to play Marston as a youth, rolling with the gang, robbin' and lootin', drinkin' and pillagin'. Get to do the dastardly deeds, rather than fend off the dastardly devils.

On a side note, I can't wait for new DLC's for Red Dead Redemption. I'll actually blow dust off my X-Box 360 and play it for a while. <3

Yeah i think that would be a great idea and still no word on what the DLC actually is yet. Shall keep people posted when i know.

YAY! ive been waiting for more of this since the undead nightmare one. Good find!

Hope its something good, i still havent got round to doing the free co-op mission pack. haha.

They arent bad for a free pack and ive had some laughs doing them.

UPDATE: Apparently will contain New and Free Multiplayer Characters (Fan-Favorites, so probably'll be good) and some updates to old game-modes, as well as possible new ones.

I'm stoked, personally. They hinted towards singleplayer add-ons too, though it all sounds minor compared to multiplayer.

Hoping for some more Single Player content but i might have a blast on multiplayer again at some point.
