Released back at Comic-Con, this video shows off the second mission of the game and gives more of a glimpse into the over-the-top action you can expect from Saints Row: The Third. The hand to hand combat looks great though you do seem a lot more powerful than all of the enemies and can plow through them. The parachute part looks brilliant and the sort of thing that separates Saints Row from other open world titles it doesnt take itself seriously and they treat it like a game merely to have fun in.

That's why I like SR, it doesn't restrict itself with the limitations of trying to be realistic and being all super serial, with the way Rockstar has been going with their new games I don't think GTA will ever return to it's roots anymore. I'm guessing they have the difficulty turned down for demonstrative purposes.

Would have thought they would have auto aim on for demonstrative purposes too because whoever is playing it isnt a very good shot. :lol:

I dont mind the serious route they have gone down with GTA but it just doesnt need to be relentless, got to have some fun on the way and trying to turn it into a sim with bowling and friendships was a step to far to realism.
