New to Fable, help a noob out
Okay I've never played the first fable, and this past month I went on a spree at my local EB and bought about 5 or 6 new games like fallout3, saintsrow2, etc. One of them being Fable 2. Now I have just gotten around to playing it, seeing as I was playing fallout3 first and these games seem best enjoyed if the story is fresh in my head so I try not to play more than 1 game at once. ANYWAYS, I'm a little past the part in the story mode where you get locked up in a cage in wraithmarsh with all these banshees running around. Well now that I'm this far I have a few questions, and this forum seems a perfectly apropriate place to direct them.
1. Like I said, I have just arrived in Wraithmarsh and some guy has me locked in a cage. Now am I far into the story? Because this game is starting to feel like its ridiculously short. Ive only played for a few days and Im this far... If I beat the main story soon I will be dissapointed, simple because most of the side quests are repetitive and unejoyably familiar.
2. The back of the game or the booklet said something like "the map in Fable 2 is twice of that of the original". So me seeing this and hearing about how great Fable is thinking it will be huge but Ive been told after getting to bloodstone theres no more towns or cities? Is that true?
3. My last and final question is about the live. Im going to have to pay 50 dollars for a cord, then another 60$ to pay for live and it will be basically all for Fable2. So whats the live like? Do you walk around and play the game normal but instead of NPCs everywhere its actually characters controlled by other players? Or is it just like you make a room where 4-6 people can join and you do quests together? Or maybe its only co-op and you can only play with one other person? I know these are the noobiest questions you've ever seen posted but I'm new and wanna know how **** goes down. Any extra info about the live I'd love to hear.
If you've made it this far then your reading ability is probably significantly improved as Ive typed up a short novel here. Thank you for reading my first post.
