Well, despite what was said some time ago by Bethesda's Jason Bergman. It looks like the final DLC add-on Lonesome Road will be suffering the same fate as Old World Blues after all. No exact cause for the delay was given nor was the new release date revealed either, but Bergman did have this to say...

"We just wanted to drop in here and let you know that due to circumstances beyond our control, Lonesome Road won’t be out this month. This isn’t due to any major issue with the code or content, but there are lots of factors involved in releasing these things, and one of those is causing us to slip past our intended release date.

We don’t have an exact date yet, but we’re working to get it out as quickly as possible. We’ll be announcing the final date, along with a couple of other interesting FNV-related items in the near future."

But it's not all bad news, in the moment of this announcement Bethesda has also released the very first screenshot for Lonesome Road to the public. It's not much, but check it out in the thumbnail below.

Source,

Id rather they delayed it and made sure they can fix as much with it as possible as some of the DLC has caused many issues for people. Did make me chuckle though as Jason only said the other day how it wouldnt be delayed and was well on course for release.

Yep, spoke too soon indeed. Though I must admit, Obsidian has gotten a real hang of the engine and has been doing a damn fine job of polishing up New Vegas and the game runs like a dream now, so I'm not too worried about the DLC. I've only encountered mod-conflicting related bugs for DLC on the PC.

On the plus side, with LR out of the way I can now put more money onto my purchase of Dues Ex this month.

Yeah i have respect for developers that although they have had issues with their games and bugs and glitches they continue to support it and continue to work on it (shame about KotOR II but that wasnt entirely their fault).

Im hoping to have enough time to get through nearly all of my games and DLC in time for Deus Ex.
