New way to get money

not anything thats really new, you could of course just use a trainer for all the gold youll ever need, but If you stay true to the game like I do its kinda cool.

anyhow, go to snowspire and go to the shop that sells swords. push the guy out of his shop, get him drunk, and steal his augmentations. The only things you can steal from him are: Fire aug, lightning aug, sharpening aug, silver aug, that armour penetrating aug, and an obsidian or steel mace. well, maybe more, but thats all ive seen.

Hah, never heard this way before. Usually it's something about abusing the market system.

Also, if you go to the item shop in oakvaile, if you break in the door will shut behind you and you can steal all you want. yar har.

well yah. but that wouldnt be an assasiny thing to do. thats what Im aimin for.

And by the way. thats one hell of an afro. I wish I had an afro. Damn, now im sad.

I love getting the shop keeper drunk and pushing him out of the shop.
Also if just before that you clean him out and sell back just the augments the shelves will be full of augments. You obviously need money to do that but it's fun when you can.

Once I pushed the shopkeeper in oakvale out and similar to when you picked the lock the door shut with him outside I stayed in the shop until dawn but it didn't open :O. Come midnight it RESTOCKED I stole all that stuff too. I stayed for three days and stole all the stuff each time it restocked then I got board and teleported out

Hellz yah. Stealing may be the best part of fable, that and killing people of course.

The fact that it takes so long was annoying at first but it's more rewarding when you succeed. The only time it didn't take a long time was grabbing the blue mushroom in Barrow Fields. No getting away with that one but if you have the apologize expression you can apologize and the guards will let you go WITH THE MUSHROOM :lol:

I remember seeing this in an older thread, but I can't find it.:P Still is a good way to earn gold.

Nice exploitation of a store keepers willingness to take down a cool frosty one! ^_^

My guy is too evil to give people beers without them going into the fetal position, saying "sorry but I don't get it". :(
