Nintendo already working on Wii 2

According to Nintendo President Satoru Iwata the successor to the Nintendo Wii is already in development and being prepared. In an interview with Forbes posted on CVG he said the following.

We are always preparing for the next hardware, We are under development... But the hardware is a kind of box that consumers reluctantly buy in order to play our games. Every hardware needs some revolutionary features, this time around, it happened to be we had a revolutionary user interface. Will it be the same for the next generation? I really can't tell. It's natural for the current customer to expect Nintendo is going to once again do something different. If the people are expecting so many different things from Nintendo, it's going to be difficult for us to go beyond that expectation again.

A Wii 2? Sounds good to me! I'm glad me and Sharon held of before buying the original Wii now! I wonder what new features Nintendo will be able to come up to make A Wii 2 worth buying. Hope they call it something better than Wii 2, too!

I think if they are starting to design/make/produce a Wii 2 already, wouldn't it be a bit....samey? Because apart from making the graphics sightly better, what can they add that would be worth going crazy about?

Now that would be a breakthrough i think in this world today, would it not? Oh and of course, very expensive on the average persons pocket.

the wii 2 will be a massive box that requires the space of an entire bedroom. with this sacrifice, you will actually be pulled into the game world. everything will feel real, and youll get a workout. it will be called 'the matrix.' now thats worth buying
