February looked a lot like January, with Wii taking the top spot in next-gen consoles over rivals PS3 and Xbox 360. Nintendo Wii sold 335,000 units, whilst Xbox 360’s were 228K and PS3 underperformed with 127K consoles sold.

The Wii is doing this well and they are the only one with a shortage.
I want to get one for heath reasons video games are such sedentary activities in general if I can be more active while playing then I'm in.

On the upside for XboX there attach rate continues to be phenomenal

February’s NPD Numbers Highlight Xbox 360’s Strength

Xbox 360 owners continue to buy more games for their console than any console before in the US, with a software attach rate of 5.4 games per customer, compared to 2.3 for Sony's PlayStation 3 and 2.8 for the Nintendo Wii. Even more remarkable is how long we've sustained this record. Last February, when Xbox 360 had been out for roughly the same amount of time as PS3 and Wii are now, our attach rate was 3.8. This record further demonstrates that Xbox 360 offers the best high-definition games that gamers of all levels want to play.

Playstation is not looking good comparatively in either statistic

I am way happy about the 360. I love mine. I plan on getting a Wii as soon as I can. The PS3 most likely won't happen unless i get alot of money. And the only big name game that is exclusive is MGS. And the rumors about that going to 360 as well seem probable. The 360 has all the next gen games that are getting people's real attention.

The Wii's price and image that appeals to such a wide age group is helping it a lot. Sales will obviously fall eventually when the novelty wears off but im happy for them. Good news for Microsoft with 360 sales doing well too and i have to say i love mine . Sony need to get into gear and fast if they want their sales to pick up or risk finishing in 3rd place which will be a massive blow to them and a real wake up call.

I would think that the lower price would mean that the Wii would have a higher attach rate but I guess that it just means that if someone has enough to get a 360 there not going to get a Wii plus added games and hardware they'll get the 360 instead. that means that the Wii is appealing to people that don't want spend much money on video games. It's all conjecture of course

A lot of people i know who were raving about the Wii are now selling them or thinking about selling them as the novelty is wearing off.

I'd like to buy some of these Said Wii's. After trying my friends I'm addicted. I got the hang of it in a snap. Though the two boys had troubles with it.

What about Final Fantasy 13 and DMC 4, If im not mistaken those are exclusives as well. Knowing and being a fan of those series, I know alot of people who would buy the PS3 for those two as well as MGS, myself included of course.

Anyway, I think it may be due to the price and, shall we say innovativeness, of the Wii that has put it in the lead. Im not surprised myself.

unfortunate for PS3, not even dmc4 can persuade me to buy it, whether i have the money or not. as for the 360, its one hell of a machine. i abandoned my ps2 for it, poor things goten all dusty and unplayed for so long. hopin GoW2 will probably give it some time.

Yeah i remember when Ps2 fans were saying that the 360 sucks
yeah and not the ps3 is int 3rd? I think ps2 fans when with the wii because they dont like the 360

Quoted for truth. Fanboys(and girls) of consoles are only hurting themselves by not experiencing awsome games on other platforms, if I had the money Id own all the systems, if for nothing else, variety.
