No Health Potions plz

Plz don't have any health potions in Fable 2. I hated them so much, they made the game laughably easy especially with so much health. either ditch them entirely OR if not make them work over time (1 health pot will heal 100 health over 5 sec etc.)

I would love to have multiple difficultly settings, but back in GDC 08 PM said there wasn't. PM said that if your typically better at the game, the game itself will realise this and alter its difficultly setting itself.

Still health pots have to be different this time around plz.

i think youre pretty safe because you wont be able to see your health and you wont ever die so i cant think why there would be health potions

I think they should add something that allows you to heal others, e.g. someone you have to escort.
Fable had Heal spell, but other than that, nothing.

Yeah a healing others item would be very useful. They should have had that in Oblivion as well, my healing powers are pitifull in that game.

Same here. I was a perfectionist in that game so I hated having my allies die so I was constantly healing and shielding them. Unfortunately even with very high Restoration, it was very difficult to keep them alive.

Yeah a healing others item would be very useful. They should have had that in Oblivion as well, my healing powers are pitifull in that game.

I hope it won't fall on us to keep the others alive. I really hope there are potions. It sounds like I might need them more in this game.

lol what kind of an RPG doesn't have health potions? There should be health potions, but they need to be more expensive. You shouldn't be able to stop into town and pocket thirty health potions, they should have substantial ones be very highly priced and really weak ones a dime a dozen.

i still cant see how there will be health potions when there will be no health display... and you wont die... i dont see the point of health potions... if we cant die i dont think our allies will die or at least i hope not im not good at keeping others alive just myself and i always hate the missions where you have to care for others... selfish i know but oh well... with a dog to take care of already we shouldnt have to take care of allies...

Until I play the game, I won't know for sure, but when I'm laying on some floor, it might come in handy. I really want the potions though, in case.

lol thats a good point. They should offer rennaissance steroids instead. three uses and your nearly impossible to knock over!

There is a health value or variable anyhow.


Eventhough you don't have the traditional health bar, there is a health value within the game, which's status is shown to you through "beatenupness" on your character.

So health potions would work.

I saw a new map at Lionhead that shows Bowerstone Market. I bet they sell potions there.

I would have made fable 2 so that you regained/eat/healed after combat like in WoW, it would be cool if the health skill made you regain faster

well now that i know the no dieing thing has been scratched i could see the need for helath potions... that being said the fact that there will be no hud or mini map or anything i dont think there will be a thing showing your health... your controller will probably rumble or maybe a hearbeat or something and then after a while you regenerate...
