NO JOKE! THIS IS THE RELEASE DATE!

I was over at game stop the other day and I notice they had a little book by the counter. It had New Games of 2008 on the cover so I flipped through the book to the xbox 360 section. Just looking through it I saw the name, "Fable 2" out on the sheet. I then lookedp the date and it said 10/1/08. The Wait is almost over. Woohoo!

dont they usually just have the first written as the day when they're not sure of the exact date?

Well PM has already stated that the game will be released in October, but apart from that, all games retailers just use a placeholder date when an official one has not been announced yet.

Yeah PM did say October in Game they say it is out on the 17th of October but in a 360 magazine I think it says either November or December but I am sticking to what PM said at an interview

yeah its october and i think that the 1st would be likely or at least very early october because gears 2 is coming on the 7th of november and microsoft is going to want to advertise for both alot

You never know, it just might be true! I wish I hadn't closed the tab down but I just posted in a thread which mentioned that IGN posted the official Fable 2 release date as October 28th. Personally, I don't know the official release date of Fable 2 but I think we'll have to wait a little longer before the official official date is announced. And only Lionhead and Microsoft will know when that'll be.
