No need for permanent change of files
Just something I found useful when nodding. When going to open fable explorer do not click on run as admin FE should open and run as normal however your actual game files will not be edited. this proves useful if you ate going to mess with unknown variables.
Note: this is currently for vista users who have the run as admin function when opening programs.
Note 2: editing textures will not work in this mode as this is desinged to protect your files but adding new things seems to work.
