No Resident Evil 5 Before April 2008

Seems it didnt make Capcoms latest financial report and wont be released until at the earliest April 2008. Instead Resident Evil fans will have to settle with Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and the remixed Resident Evil 4 on the Nintendo Wii. Another interesting quote from the article is about Capcoms upcoming title Devil May Cry 4 and talk of a delay until next year but the quote in the article seems to say it will infact be released this year.

Apparently Capcom will be relying on sales of Devil May Cry 4, the above mentioned Resis and Mega Man cartoon tie-ins to provide this year's dosh, which is fair enough.

This sucks. I was looking forward to the release of this game, it looked awesome, and plus I like the series. Oh well...guess there's nothing to do but wait. Thanks for posting though..

Yeah bad news for resident evil fans but they still get two resident evil games this year. It could however be great news for Devil May Cry fans with the comments made about that.
