fable 2 got nothing short of a 9 which is very good ( except on American IGN you Americans wouldn't know a good game if it kicked you in the balls) and in America it got nothing short of a 8 :O and i think the game should of gotten a 10 because it sets a bench mark on what a real RPG should let you do

No game is deserving of a 10, a point I have covered before, it'd have to be entirely flawless to deserve a perfect 10/10. :P

Still, I'm glad that nowhere has yet to give it anything below an 8, this pleases me, I can't wait until Friday...UK release date FTL. >.<

Why have a tenth grade if no game deserves it? I don't think the game has to be perfect to be a 10.

^ Because 10/10 is a perfect score, and as such, a game must be absolutely perfect beyond question, and that's just not possible.

But I digress.

I'm still really glad to hear that Fable is already doing so well, it just makes me want it more, usually, high scores make me more nervous than excited, but hey, it's Fable, how can you not be?

You can't trust IGN. Know why? They're bloody retarded. They can't even find the mean of a score. Wtf?

8.0 Presentation
The story is nothing special, but Albion is a believable world full of interesting people.
8.0 Graphics
The environments are impressive, and there’s a wide variety of looks for your character. The spells are visually potent.
8.5 Sound
Solid voice acting and a script packed with humor. The music takes some unexpected, but welcome, turns.
8.5 Gameplay
The combat system is a success and for the most part, the economic and morality systems work well, and the dog is a great addition. The co-op, though, is not up to par.
8.5 Lasting Appeal
The main quest is short, but there are numerous other distractions. If you invest yourself in Fable II, you can spend easily spend 30 hours in Albion. If not, you can truck through in under 10 hours.

Both GameReactor Sweden and GameReactor Norway rated Fable 2 as : 8.0

It's still pretty good. Trust me.

I dont think a game should be perfect to get a top score, 10/10
Then how about grades in school? an A+ (or whatever grade is the highest - I get numbers not letters as a grade) No1 and nothing is perfect. a game that's perfect for one player may vary from another player..
I agree that 10/10 is a very rare score and with so many great games, fewer games achieve such a high score. But that doesn't mean a game should be absolutely perfect to get the score 10/10

IMO a perfect game is one that can never be beaten, which means there would be no point in making another game, since the perfect game is already made..
therefore all games should be able to get 10/10, but if there's a lot of cons then it will naturally get a lower score

Strange. I just checked IGN, GameSpot, GameTrailers, etc, like an hour ago and still none of 'em have any Fable 2 reviews up yet. I'm guessing there's an embargo out there on Fable 2 reviews until the game has been officially released. Then again, maybe I'm just blind and overlooked the reviews... :P
