Oakfield Abbot Glitch

I'm doing the quest for the abbot in oakfield. i got enough renown now i am supposed to go talk to him but when i approach him, nothing happens. he doesnt move, no conversation starts. i've tried quitting the game, starting everything up again but it still doesnt work. is my game ****ed?

man this is a joke. i'm going to have to start a new character. i aint waiting around for a fix to come out.

sorry but it's just dicks like DAG204 that ruin forums and any sort of online group discussions because they think they can talk down to people who aren't as informed on a certain topic as other people.
