Oakfield Massacre - where's the last guy?

Oakfield Massacre - where's the last guy?

Hi all,

I hope someone can help me - I've played this mission twice now and I can't find the last villager! I can hear his voice when I'm near the pub/bridge but can't spot him. He says the same thing the beggar in Bowerstone says about, "I'd ask you to shoot me, but you'd probably poke yer eye out!"

Is this a bug or am I just not seeing him? Please help, anyone who's completed this.

It´s a gargoyle... and for the last dude, follow ur breadcrumb trail. The gargoyle in oakfield is at the right side of the bridge, if u come from the bar way.

yeah, that's not a person. it's just a pesky gargoyle. Man those things were bothersome. There's a guide here somewhere if you want to kill more of those buggers (and get their treasure)

You can't really ask where the last person is, since people just run around screaming with the slightest hint of violence...

To get this quest, you need to be part of the Temple of Shadows - they'll offer it to you at some point.

Like others have already said (but I just love repeating stuff and looking vaguely smart :lol:) - the scottish voices which insult your skills are Gargoyles. Turn on your glittery trail to find the last Oakfield person to kill (I couldn't find them either for absolutely ages). If there is no trail except to those Shadow worshippers, then you're all done and you can go and speak to them.

Just be warned - the guards will kick your backside all over the shop the very next time you visit Oakfield. And the fine was so damn huge I had to do community service instead of paying them off and got hammered by three huge Balverines for my troubles.

It's NOT the gargoyle. I just played it through for the fourth time. If you just run through town the bread crumb trail does not keep up with you. Take your time and allow the trail to reset. Sometimes it kind of sticks on the last character you killed. Just give it time, head off in another direction and be patient. When it reappears follow it to the next vicim's local. One of the last poor innocent victims you kill will be the traveling gamer. The very last person I killed was one last monk in the temple, although I had already been to the temple and killed four monks. Be patient and let the trail be your guide.

If you're having trouble finding a villager, try using Raise Dead in different areas all over Oakfield. They will seek out enemies for you as long as they are near enough to it. This should apply to anything "hostile" even if its a villager. As long as the safety is off. So use them like blood hounds and scour different parts of the town.

Just keep summoning them at different places.

i had this problem just run to the temple and bk and he will appear in the inn

I CANT FIND THE LAST GUY!!!i DID WHAT EVERYONE SAID TO DO ASWELL!!!

*I ran back to the temple where if killed the monks then i ran back to the pub then i used my spells and everything but still there is no guy!!!!WTF im starting to hate fable jsut because of this quest.It would be really helpful if anyone could help me please!

Go upstairs to the Bar, they could be up there too.

You have to run back and forth between the 2 shadow worrshippers a few times and then a # of villagers left will appear and so will the guards. the last guy you kill is a monk at the temple no matter what you do.

Are you sure the last guy is going to be a monk??because i killed all the monks and there were no respawns and i had 1 more to kill still

Not for me, my last victim was a Barman.

i had the same problem i killed everyone in the temple left then came back looking for the last guy and he was there

A good thing to do is to start out in the bar clear everyone before you go to the temple makes it quicker for me. And check the houses thats where my last guy was

I can never find the last guy i think something is wrong with the game :(damn and it was fun looks im getting fallout 3 instead

OK so i had this same problem and i fixed it by running into the monk area with slow time.
make sure they don't jump off the little cliff at the side it glitch's and they seem to get stuck in the ground or something. hope this help.
