Oakfield Massacre?

I've already gotten the Maelstrom. I can't recall if I even ever received the quest, but I know I didn't do it yet. Now it doesn't even show up. I've been sacrificing people, but I still haven't gotten the quest. Does the quest disappear after you get to a certain point? I've completed the main storyline and I didn't do the Defender of the Light quest.

it dissapears after the spire quest.

You get it after road to westcliff quest

It says before you go the Spire about leaving quests behind. I think you have to do it before you leave.
