The highly acclaimed RPG masterpiece known as The Elder Scrolls Oblivion is getting an expansion this spring and Bethesda have finally released some information on it.

Its going to be apparently called Shivering Isles and will add an extra 30 hours+ to the game & offer players a new plane of Oblivion to explore - the realm of Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness.

Within the Realm of Sheogorath, players can explore the two extreme sides of the god's madness - the sublimely creative and the completely psychotic. Something is happening to the Shivering Isles and Sheogorath himself looks to you to be his champion and defend his realm and its inhabitants from destruction. Do you have the strength to survive his trials, tame a realm fraught with paranoia and despair, and wear the mantle of a God?"

Apparently the Xbox 360 version of Shivering Isles is only going to be released through Xbox Live via download, but the PC version will be a boxed retail release game.

Too bad instead of playing halo with me like he said he's playing Resident Evil 4.

Sometimes I hate games..but that's blasphemy..
