Fable II” and Pub Games get release date and Limited Collector’s Edition contents are revealed

Today, Microsoft Game Studios and Lionhead Studios announced that the highly anticipated action role-playing game “Fable® II” will ship to U.S. retailers on Oct. 21, 2008 and European retailers on Oct. 24, with subsequent release dates throughout the rest of the world in the coming months. I read through an argos catalogue today and saw that Fable 2 was in there. But it said it would be available from the 15th of October, so looks like I'll be getting it before you

I read in the official 360 mag that its the 31st Oct, and I remember that because its the day after my birthday. Just my stinkin luck.

Yeah it was a bit. I meant it in good humor. There have been a ton of release dates put out for the last two years or longer.

I once posted three different sites that had the release date as 1/1/07 :lol:

Since Lionhead has now offically announced the release date we can get forget about all the placeholder dates. Best Buy still has 10/15/08 but the price finally went up on the LE. I hope people got in on that while they could.

The only way that someone is going to get Fable II before the 21st is if a retailer breaks the release date and sells it early. That would mean getting a heafty fine and risking having all MS products pulled from the store. NOt something any retailer will do lightly.
