what day is it? all i hear is october this and october that, it would be nice to have a concrete day, other than the game stores assumption.

I went into GAME and they said it will be out on the 17th of October and just as aeonbleu said 17th is on a Friday

ive been told october 31'st, but then again, i think that was just because it was october and that date was the last friday of the month so it would give the store the slack they need if the date changes..

Peter Molyneux is indeed English he was actually born in Guildford Surrey (same place that Lionhead Studios is based). The game will release worldwide on the same day i imagine, highly doubt the US would get it before UK. It does happen with a lot of titles but with blockbusters they are usually at the same time. Halo 3 was actually released on a Wednesday here to coincide with the US release (usually released on Fridays).

It will be released October 1st, i have 2 ways to prove this. IGN has a countdown timer for Fable 2 that ends October 1st, also gamestop.com has the date set to 10/01/08. I guess they could change but I dont see why IGN or Gamestop would be wrong.

If we preorder early from Gameplay its been known to get the games 2 days early. I had The Darkness, Gears Of War and Bioshock 3 days before release. So you just never know depending on if you order it or wait at the store.

LOL, yeah, they just might. But I know how you feel. I'm jumpy and moody, and probably driving my family crazy, playing all the videos over and over. I really hope it's October 1st.
Someone mentioned at Lionhead that they will have a Birthday in October. I'm wondering, what Lionheads birthday is? Maybe that's the day?
