Omega Sektor taps into pro gaming

The Omega Sektor in Birmingham (England) has recently revealed plans to launch a professional league aimed at pro, semi-pro and casual gamers. Glad to see the place getting more popular and being embraced by all types of gamers and good to see it doing well.

The OSPL comprises tournaments around four games; Counter-Strike: Source, Call of Duty 4, Pro Evolution Soccer 08 and Unreal Tournament 3.

Spot prizes and rewards will apparently be offered for the most outstanding displays of gaming talent, including most number of kills in a season.

The leagues and tournaments are open on a first-come first-served basis on its website.

According to Omega Sektor, a number of individual pro gamers and team pro gamers have already signed up for the tournaments, so poo your pants now.
