Oracle of snowspire problem

hey i guys i realy need help i dont know whats going on i got all the glyphs and now im returning to the oracle and sycthe is there and when i go towards him a scene is suppose to come up but all i see is black screen and bird sounds in the background it doesnt make any sense all the scenes were working fine until this one and reinstalling didnt help please someone help me i realy wanna beat this game
and i am running vista but trying to run it on administrator still didn't work idk whats going on.

Ya ive got the same problem. Bought the game and once i get to this part screen goes black and all i hear are birds chirping and background sounds. I have to windows button then ctrl alt dlt to get out of the game. Ive looked everywhere for an answer but no one seems to know. :'( Sucks cause i only bought the damn thing for a added story and items. played the original on xbox.

Try running it in XP compatability mode

Weird thing is im running Windows XP. Ive never heard of anyone having this problem on XP
