Oracle

Just a quick heads-up folks, for those who have not yet seen the main page - I have caved to my obsessive compulsive disorder and written out everything the Oracle says to the Hero at Snowspire. You can find it all in the Fable: The Lost Chapters section - but it does contain spoilers so please do not read it unless you have completed the game or are a glutton for punishment.

Enjoy!

There's a faq that has everything they say. That woulda saved you some time.
but rep for doing it anyway.

Re: Oracle

Yeah, I know about the FAQ, but I like to feed my obsessive nature from time to time. Plus I had nowt better to do

Ahh trust me, I know about the obsessive compulsive nature. I do that alot with games. I just can't help it.

Ahh well. ^_^ Good job anyway.

Re: Oracle

I was tempted to write down EVERYTHING the NPCs say but figured that would take forever, so I settled for the Oracle instead.

Hahah we could have our own little NPC project going on. :D
What they say when you're evil and what they say when you're not.
Like when I went to the fisherman he was like "You're not going to beat me with a fish are you? well then I'll see what you have"

Re: Oracle

There is so much that they say in passing, not necessarily when you actually speak to them (like the bully at Oakvale). What we need is an entirely good file and an entirely evil file and jot down every single thing said by all NPCs from the beginning to the end. I might just do that one of these days coz I really am that sad...

 I'm equally as sad. But the good thing about the PC version is it has Text files laying around as well as audio, that specifies what's evil and what's not..hmmm..

:ninja:

Re: Oracle

Aah...sneaky beaky - me likey.

I reckon a few little details are missed when people ignore the NPCs...listening to that woman at the beginning berating her cheating husband is hilarious but if you don't follow her, you'll never find out.

It is quite amusing. I like walking by the house because you can hear her yelling. Shame she's in an endless loop though.

Yeah I still always hear new things when I walk by people. And it changes depending on what you're called, like me "Jack, Slayer of Souls" And so on.
oohh....I like projects. :D

Re: Oracle

I just love it when NPCs don't quite know how to regard you at all. I just went from utterly evil to 100% good in just a few seconds by donating all my gold to Avo - the poor saps in Bowerstone are still trying to get to grips with the fact I killed my sister, in between half-heartedly cheering me and the kids running away screaming and then running back saying "when I grow up I wanna be just like you, Hero....WAAAAH!"

hahahah that's happened to me. A bunch of people love me and I don't know why. they clap, and then the traders run away from me.
Yay thread hijacking!

Re: Oracle

My thread, so who cares? No one else is around anyway :ninja:

 That's so true. They're all sleeping.

Re: Oracle

Well, it's almost 3pm here, so I'm guessing it's early-ish morning for you? Steve is at work, the kid is at school and I have stuff-all to do except debate whether to continue posting in the Barrowfields Art Gallery...

It's 10 AM now. I know most normal people would still either be sleeping or at school

Re: Oracle

Nice Work Sharon, thats a good list +rep

Re: Oracle

Hehe - thank you. Bored out of my skull so need something to do!

Re: Oracle

nice spoilers i got bored listening to that idiot ramble on...some people ( including me) have to much time on their hands

Re: Oracle

I just got to the end of the game, had nothing else to do except mass murder and fancied a break - so I spent a day and a half (game time, obviously) listening to what the Oracle had to say.
