Alright, since Fable is dead to me, I feel kinda weird lurking on this specifically Fable forum. You guys are great though, so can someone tell me what other sites Steve runs and that you guys may or may not be a part of so that I can go lurk there as well.

Not that I'll leave here, I just want somewhere dedicated to a game that I can actually enjoy.

I'm the life of the party, baby!

And what did they all have in common?

I wasn't there.

Actually, you were indeed a member of MassEffectX. :troll:

I remember, cause Hexadecimal and the rest of us from back then were there as well.

The Greyviper one certainly seems interesting. Might go sign me up.

And is there a reason why there isn't a TES one? Everyone loves those games. We talk about them more here than we do Fable.

I guess the idea never came to mind, plus there's already a number of established TES communities which would affect the amount of success it could have. Could always pitch it to him though.

I'm a member at DMC, REN, and GreyViper.
The first two are more active with REN probably being the most similar to here.

DMC is kind of a psycho drama llama, but it's mellowed out a bit of late. Even so, the general maturity of the place (excluding the staff and a select few members) is extremely low.

GreyViper is still pretty young so there isn't much activity yet (nor any discussion to think of). I mostly just post the odd how-to and review on those boards hoping to maybe bring in some more users from search engines.

Hehe - if drama is your thing then the dmc site is the place to be. Be there when our mod Angelo Credo goes into mod-rage mode - it is truly epic stuff.

REN is quiet but with a good bunch of people - close group but not cliquey or elitist. GV is still in its infancy and the site Steve spends the most time on at the moment, trying to promote it effectively. As such, it's super quiet but has no idiocy at all, which is nice.

The other sites we had died not because of inactivity but because of massive security issues which affected all our sites. The whole "this site contains malware" fiasco we had some time back was thanks to those sites. They weren't cost effective either so we ditched them.

I personally would love a TES site but it's too tough a market to crash...if we had the time and money to make one just for lulz then we probably would, but sadly that's not possible right now :(

This forum could have ended up an Elder Scrolls site before it became a Fable site (also nearly a Dragon Ball site) but yeah as Sharon said there was too much competition and established communities out there for little old us to crack that market.

I go on DMC.org every day same as here and pop into Greyviper from time to time but not much going on there at the minute on the forums in regards to post activity that isnt my own.

I'm amazed you've put up with DMC for this long, I still recall my brief time there years ago. That place was the devil's anus, but after a lurk session a week ago there and witnessing how much the place has improved (though still not that great) is a miracle.

I rarely went there to begin with seem as though I dont play Devil May Cry but I heard the trouble they were having there so head over to lend a hand.

I go there primarily to troll members now. It's quite enjoyable...

Oh yeah and I occasionally do admin-esque stuff, but to be honest, Tony Redgrave is like a one-man army when he's around so the rest of us don't need to do all that much :D

Yeah, I was on Halo Wars and Masseffectx. I gave up on Halo Wars first, and then MassEffectx. I barely realized when they were shut down because I was visiting so rarely. And I was probably more active than just about anyone else.

I glanced at GreyViper for like five seconds but not long enough to even know what was going on there.

And I never played any Elder Scrolls except five minutes of Morrowind before I lost interest.
