I'm with Walker on that one - I wanted to love Morrowind so bad but having come FROM Oblivion TO Morrowind, I really struggled with how clunky it all was. And how very drab in the beginning it all seemed. Everything was varying shades of beige, it appeared. I couldn't get into it whatsoever. I think if perhaps I had not played Oblivion first I'd have been wowed by it but it just felt awkward and difficult.

Plus this flying bird/dinosaur thing kept killing me and nothing I did made a difference.

Well, yeah, I ran around haphazardly, totally lost, and got killed by small animals because I couldn't tell if my helpless flailing was hurting them.

So maybe it didn't suck, but I did. On the other hand, after THAT experience, I never tried Oblivion-- or Skyrim, for that matter.

Thats what the shocked expression was for, to not have tried Oblivion or Skyrim is blasphemy. Morrowind I can understand, if id have played it when it first came out id have likely loved it. But I played it after Oblivion and agree with you both about it, just couldnt get into it.

Morrowind has a few annoying flaws. The "chance to attack" thing being one of them. simple mod gets rid of it pretty well.

Aside from that, it gives me multiple orgasms when I play it, even if I remove all the challenge by glitching my way to level 100 everything.
