Overlord Help

If anyone plays it for the XBOX 360, your help would be much appreciated. Basically, I'm not very far in but I'm stuck in Understreets thanks to Zombie Priests. The ones that are guarding the red spoke for the wheel...I can't kill 'em. I've tried positioning my reds but they get railed in seconds and the huge army of zombies guarding the priests cut my health down before I can stab them myself...

Any tips would be handy at this stage as I have killed Oberon, found the Mother Goddess Temple and can go no further until I kill Sir William who is in Heaven's Peak or somewhere similar...

It's just ticking me off...

Re: Overlord Help

Make sure your Overlord is beefed up enough (weapon with full browns or reds) and armour with excellent damage reduction(browns) as well as some regeneration(greens).

Then I'd just spawn a huge army of browns, sick 'em on the lower zombies and activate whatever type of "Berserk" spell you have.

They should tear them apart, and you can sneak around the back to whack the boss zombies yourself.

Re: Overlord Help

But aren't the zombies only accessible via the water? So all my browns will drown, surely?

Unless there is another route?

(I have completely forgotten how to spell...how weird...)

Re: Overlord Help

Hmm... maybe we aren't thinking about the same spot. Isn't it the one where there is a cut scene where Gnarl says that those zombies are bossing the other zombies around?

Re: Overlord Help

Gar, I be confused...

All I know is that I got the first spoke from those stupid Dodo birds or whatever they are and then when you walk round you come out opposite the zombie priests, a gang of zombies in the water blocked off by a moveable pillar and more zombies guarding the priests...

Gnarl may have been talking but I tend to ignore him...

Up to the right you can walk around and break down a door which leads to a room full of bugs and treasure, I think, and then there are more zombies and another spoke...

I know I'm not making much sense...tis why I am so confused

IT could be I've gone about everything backwards?

Re: Overlord Help

I think I might see what you're talking about here. Are the priests on a ledge above the ordinary zombies?

Too bad Overlord don't have co-op, huh..

Re: Overlord Help

Yes! Zombie priests on a ledge! I hates them! What do I do?

If Overlord did have co-op that would be schweeeeeeet - better than their online games which have NOBODY playing them so you can't actually get the achievements. I know of one person only who plays them and he's too good for me so I can't win...plus he's about 12 and keeps yelling "I owned you! I OWNED YOU!!!!!"

Re: Overlord Help

Get some steel armour with full browns infused, a mace with full reds. Will allow you to solo the zombies while you swarm the priests, preferably with berserked browns.

Re: Overlord Help

And the browns won't drown? I don't know how else to get on the ledge without going via the water...

Re: Overlord Help

Are you sure there isn't some little plank or anything leading up there? Sometimes it's hard to spot. On the other hand, I don't recall the area in perfect detail, you might be correct.

Maybe if you go and rile the zombies(priests too) up with your beefy Overlord, you can have 'zerked Reds pelt the priest to death! Or I suppose 'zerked Blues could solo them..well...maybe not...not a chance. Whimps.

Re: Overlord Help

I'll give it a go although I'm really annoyed it didn't save my progress and now I have to do the whole Understreets AGAIN...resurrect the browns one by one until I have 30-odd and then lure the zombies and blah blah blah....

I hate having to repeat levels...takes me long enough as it is...

But I want Velvet instead of Rose, so it has to be done :ninja:

Re: Overlord Help

Hehe, gimme a heads-up and let me know if you managed to beat it later.

Re: Overlord Help

I shall try...but if you hear the mother of all tantrums coming across the mic, you'll know I've not managed it...
