Overnight Shipping Sucks

I ordered overnight shipping for Halo 3 from ebgames.com and UPS tells me I won't receive my game until Monday when I ordered it on Thursday. It isn't anything to do with ebgames.com as it told me it was shipped Friday morning when I checked. It cost me $10 to overnight it (which I thought was a pretty good price for shipment that quickly) but now I see that it wasn't worth it at all. Sorry, I had to vent somewhere.

There is no issue with Halo 3. It just happens to be what is getting shipped to me! This is a shipping issue that I felt like venting about.

ok... if it's not an issue with gaming or gaming hardware I think I'll just move it into Bowerstone...

I rented Halo 3 to make up for lost time now if I can find a server list so I could join games that are already going on...

Like i said in the PM there are thousands of servers running and you shouldnt find it hard to find games.

It's a normal UPS procedure, if you order any item after 12pm Thursday, it won't arrive until the next week, that being the following Monday. Since UPS doesn't deliver on Weekends, unlike USPS & Fed-Ex. This is for any other day actually, like if you were to order it for Overnight shipping on a Monday after 12pm, it won't arrive until Wednesday Morning/Noon. So yeah, the money was worth it, just bad timing....

I'm afraid that I'm in exactly the same boat as you, Amanda. My copy of Halo 3 won't arrive until Monday as well - despite guarantees that it would have been delivered the day after release, September 26th. However I purchased Halo 3 through eBay UK.
