Paralympic broadcast?

Rather than being productive and working, I have spent the last three hours or so trying to figure out if the Paralympics (specifically wheelchair basketball) are going to be broadcast here. As far as I can tell, it MIGHT be broadcast on Youtube, and it's going to be broadcast on a British channel called... Channel 4.

Guy who went to my elementary school is on the US wheelchair basketball team and I want to try to watch it. Anyone know something more specific than what I found? Or if this Channel 4 is available here? Or if NBC is broadcasting the Paralympics? As far as I can tell they aren't, but...

Does anybody know anything? The first game is August 29. Or possibly 30.
 
If you can access the website for Channel 4 they may be streaming it on there if you can't get it on TV where you are?

Really looking forward to this. The dude I know went to the same school I did when I was little, he was at middle school with my brother, and my mom taught him when he was tiny. Born with no legs and he was ridiculously ripped even when he was like 11 cause he always hauled around on his arms sans chair. By now he could probably break me in half. Cool guy, though I didn't know him that well.
 
Do you think I'd be able to enter the Paralympics if I told them "I was born without a penis." ?

When I go to the channel 4 site, it tells me that videos aren't available in my country or location. As far as I can tell, there won't be live streaming anywhere else, though there will be a youtube channel run by US Paralympics that will show... something. Does anyone know anything about a way for me to get around this country restriction?

I think the problem MIGHT be that NBC has the rights to broadcast the Olympics and Paralympics here, so Channel 4 isn't streaming to the US. But NBC isn't really USING those rights, so... WTF?

Any suggestions?
 
Well that sucks. All I've found is this "one hour highlights" thing on YouTube which is what you're on about, presumably.

The only things I can think of are most likely illegal so I can't and won't mention them.

EDIT: hang on, there's something about paralympics.org showing more coverage - including basketball. Tried looking there?
 
I looked at the paralympic site but I can't tell what their coverage will actually consist of.

COME ON, ANGEL, TELL ME HOW TO DO ILLEGAL THINGS.

BE A REBEL.

And save me from having to google illegal things. That ****'s hard.
