Perverse Cowards

I've completed the game and I'm wearing the Male Upper Class outfit (no hat or gloves but I don't exactly need the bonus attractiveness with my +47 home bonus from Castle Fairfax) and now, for some reason, everyone's scared of me, sometimes even running away! I keep using all the funny expressions I have including the infamous sock puppet and although that pleasing a particular crowd, everyone else still fears me and if I enter a new region (eve returning to the same one again), I have to start over with everyone afraid of me.

The only way I seem to be able to prevent people from being scared of me is running around in my boxers. In fact, it would appear that the perverts run away when I'm clothed and stay and cheer when I'm half naked. Er, Lionhead, I think you may have gotten this the wrong way round. In fact, Lionhead, "I thought you were great; but I'm starting to think that your're not." And, "Maybe I was wrong to think so highly of you." And besides, funnily enough, I would prefer to run around with clothes on then naked. Something that I think Lionhead is unfamilar with. :realmad:

The funny thing is, is that I've had the costume for ages so why do they start now even with the mass of humour points I've obtained? In fact, even when I am undressed, people are still nervous. The last bed I've slept in is in Castle Fairfax and I seldom use scary expressions so there's nothing to make me scary. Any help please?

Re: Perverse Cowards

Do you have a weapon on with some sort of fear augment? Perforator, or one of the others?

Come now Lionhead didn't do that to you. It's so very funny, the way you yell at them. :P

Re: Perverse Cowards

Prefarator, of course! How could I be so bloody stupid! I knew it made you scary but I didn't think it made you that scary! Shame that such a good turret rifle has to cock up your character like that. Thanks for pointing this out. This leads me on to my second question. Is there any way of removing an augument from a weapon?

Re: Perverse Cowards

augments cant be removed. why would you want to remove it? to hell with the peasants. all theyll do is follow you around and block your path

Not the perforator. Only the ones you add to, with the Knothole Island aug remover. :D And yes they scare that much.

Re: Perverse Cowards

MoonFever: Thanks for the informaion.
Man: Good point! Who needs those simplistic idiots! I think that Lionhead left a great favour behind those doors so I was wrong to shout at them. Wait, I swear that bunny has one ear longer than the other:

LIONHEAD!!! :realmad:
