Re: peter Molyneux's "the room"

Yeah, those are the Havok physics. So yes they will be in Fable 2, and if you'd like to see what it will be like go play Half-Life 2. They are pretty much the same physics type.

Re: peter Molyneux's "the room"

oh sweet, yeah I passed threw halflife like nothing but this looks even more better

Re: peter Molyneux's "the room"

Oh but you can't deny that half-life 1 is a classic though....;) Smashing headcrabs with a crowbar is timeless.

Re: peter Molyneux's "the room"

well everyone knows that peter molyneux talked about using a one button thing for to interact, fight and stuff like that.

how do you think on ebutton wil do all that? and think about it lets say ur plpaying it on the 360, do u just go up to stuff and interact with it like throwing lemons, and messing with book shelves, and lets say theres an enemy right next to you and your also next to a interactive item, what will happen?

now theres something to think about

Re: peter Molyneux's "the room"

Yeah wonder what would happen Lol.

Re: peter Molyneux's "the room"

Id agree, Half Life 2 has some of the best use of the Havok engine ive seen (plus its source engine is awesome)

Although Peter Molyneux didnt say he was going to use the one button system for Fable 2 he did say that he wanted to use it (at some point) id think that he had thought it through pretty well though.

Re: peter Molyneux's "the room"

maybe just maybe he can pull it off

I think he was talking about one button that would do different things depending on what was available and what options you choose. I remember him mentioning it in the combat simulation bar scene. Press attack button when a beer mug was near pick it up and hit someone with it. If a chair is near pick it up at swing it. If a chair is near and the enemies is far kick it at the guy. All of which would be one button. It would be easy to have that same button be interact if the person is friendly. I can't imagine there being only one button for all actions however that would take a lot of the choice out of the game. Do I cast lighting, hit them with a sword or use a bow. It might be cool if you use a bow automatically when your target is at a certain distance then switch to a sword if your target is close enough. Either way maybe there would be an option in the game setup to enable or disable "one button"
