Photo Journal question

In my options menu the "photo journal" option is blacked out and seems to serve no function for me. I do not have a journal folder anywhere that I have seen. How can I correct this and what does it do?

Take screenshots. Once you have screenshots, you'll have a functional photojournal.

I did take a screenshot, and couldn't find where it saved to. I still didn't see a folder and it is still blackout out.

Well, the problem ended up being resolved once I set my screenshot button to a different key. For some reason, Prt Scr wasn't doing the job it's supposed to be doing.

I was also wondering if it's possible to remove the HUD and stuff like that when taking a screenshot.
