Planet 237-777kc-zy4 Codename "Heaven"

It is the fourteenth of January the year 2047 i am on the space craft Angel me along with 75 other Astronauts are making our way to planet 237-777kc-zy4 Code named "Heaven". We have been on our mission for 7 months and 13 days. Our journey will last another 3 years.

Five years ago a new planet was discovered that took the science world by storm. It seemed to be a planet larger than earth and fully life supporting there are even high quality satellite images showing grass and water. the atmosphere is composed of 53% oxygen 17% nitrogen 30% carbon dioxide. We could not wait until we sent someone there.

So here we are. I'm in a large space craft heading towards Heaven.

1 year and 6 months have passed since i last communicated with you. We are now nearing "Heavens" solar system. the view from up here is amazing. all the planets in this area look like they support life.
​

something scares me. if i listen real hard i swear i hear terrible screams. i know sound cannot travel through space but i swear it is coming from the planet closest to the sun the only one that should not support life. I have given this planet my own nickname "Hell".
