i would skip school but missed to many days already:'(

Don't its not worth it. Your education is more important. Just play it in your down time. That's what games are for.

yeah man i skiped school way to much and it cost me my diploma. i am fairly well educated drop out now. :( but on a nicer note, im skiping work for three days when it comes out. well, not skipping, iv reserved to have them off. im tempted to use some of my paid days off on it, but i normaly get two days off each week anyway, so im not missing out on much money.

i am the seafood manager at a grocery store. it sucks ass cuz iv gotta be there at 6am every day that i work. and i take the heat for whatever gets screwed up in that department. i just barly got the job and its very stressfull. what really sucks is i didnt get any training. i just kinda got the job by defalt cuz we are so understaffed lately and the old manager quit and the guy who was gonna take her place just stoped showing up. so i got the job. only problem is nobody is available to train me. so its all guesswork at the moment.

yes. 13.36 an hour to start and then it goes up automaticly after every 1000 hours of work. not bad for an 18 year old. befor i got 8.86 and that payed my bill quite well. i still work at home so now i can afford some really nice toys. and save up for school and junk too.

Sounds like a buddy of mine, or at least his first job. He stayed in it for too long though cause he was soooo tired of it by the time he quit. Like 2 years in.

Just wag a little then. Taking a couple of days off to get "aquainted" to it wont hurt unless you already do it too much.

I would, but it comes out just before my year 11 exams so I can't really afford myself that luxury.

Good news is I get about 10 weeks of holidays a starting in November.

Things will carry on as normal for me I'm guessing...we may not even have the game at the same time as everyone else so as usual I will be eons behind the rest of you when I do get my hands on it :lol:

I suppose I could take a few hours off work, turn around in my seat to face the TV and play some Fable II before doing another 90 degrees in my chair to continue with my job...such a hardship, you understand...

^I wish my Xbox was only 90 degrees away at any time....although I think my work output would be severly reduced!

Lol, during High School I missed 1 day less than the amount that would of kept me from getting my diploma, and it's not even like I was keeping track. But as for anyone who is thinking about skipping, if you have good attendance and fair grades, take a day off and play some Fable II. But then again I am pure evil and my advice may lead to you failing.

As for me on the other hand I already made sure I'm not scheduled to work at any of my jobs for three days. I wouldn't be very productive working anyway since I'd just be thinking of Fable II...

I never skipped a day of school in my life. I was sick and stayed home sometimes, but I never left to play.
