Playable characters in RE 5?

So yeah I know about the male character, but I am curious, anybody heard/know if there are multiple characters you will be able to play as...? :O

Not that I know of. There hasn't really been many updates since September.

Yeah, seems that way. Couldn't find anything either, but then I figured I wasn't much into the game, so someone who is might know more.

I dont think theres any news on it, but its a common theme in the RE games so the chances are high. At best you'll probably get to choose to play a side story with a female character, at worst a small survival section with one (like ashely or sherry), But those are simply my theories.
