please help me

Ive been playing this game for a few hours now and Ive just been doing the main quest, but so far this game doesnt seem like that much fun. How can i make a lot of money and where can i get cool weapons and nice houses. I just want to know how i can really get into this game so that I can enjoy. thanks

Re: please help me

To earn some nice amount of gold, do some jobs. The recommended ones are Assassination/Bounty Hunting, Bartending and Blacksmithing - whichever you prefer.
Cool weapons are obtainable by buying them, or by finding them. Of course, if Legendary weapons are the ones you want to obtain, make sure you check out this thread.

Also, you can buy a house with gold, obviously. If you want to buy a house, do the jobs, and you'll earn your gold in no-time.
If you do have XBLive, I suggest trading is a very nice way to gain profit. Also, renting out some of your properties will reward you with money each 5 minutes, depending on the amount of properties you're renting.

If you're only a few hours in on your first game, don't worry about money. Getting awesome weapons on your first time through makes the game boring and way too easy. If your character is an adult, do bartending. If your character's not 21 yet, be a lumberjack. Lumberjack makes faster money than blacksmithing at the later levels, so it's worth it to lumberjack until you're 21.

EDIT: Tl;dr Don't worry about money, just enjoy the game.
