plz help . my dog dissapeared after playing co-op online now i carnt dig up the ice k

After playing online i fast traveled to a new location ond my dog dissapeared i chose not to sacrafice any of my loved ones at the end of the game so does anyone no why this happened or how to fix it because to make matters worse iv downloaded knothole island and carnt complete the first quest with out my dog ... i just keep digging in the glowing circle but i never find anything plz someone help.

Well first off - Yes you can complete Knothole Island without your dog, you can get a new dog!

Secondly, you can get a new dog, by following this guide i found -
I did it last night. A played on night one with a character that chose Love and still had his dog, Felony. There was nothing there at the tomb. Last night I played with my super evil character that didn't choose love, and there was an instruction sign and a lever. I grabbed the first yokel that would follow me, stuffed him in the tomb, and pulled the lever. One big bolt of lightening later and me dog, Puddles, came scampering out and black and red glowy eyed. If I wasn't a psychotic murderer I would have been moved.

Third and Final, "i chose not to sacrafice any of my loved ones at the end of the game" What does this mean? You used Sacrifice and Love, sorry, it confused me.

Yeah i heard about the resurecion tomb but there's no sign out side and the door doesnt open when i approach it with a npc following me i figure this is because i chose to keep my dog at the end of the game and the ressurection tomb is only for bringing dog's back that where lost via the dissition made at the end. My dog has just randomly dissapeared but when i look on my map i can see his paw print of to the left of the map in a place i cant reach marking his location.
Also sorry i meant that i chose love at the end of the game
also hs anyone else tried to dig up the ice key without there dog sniffing it outfirst because i just dig forever without finding it ....... i think im glitched

you can do it without a dog full stop.

follow the golden trail, go into the circle and go into your items, and click on spade.

One key found.

Odd. Never heard of that happening, so i don't know what to say, sorry.

And yes, you can find the key without the dog as the above poster mentioned!

are you sure maybe your dog just isnt hurt? if he got injured then maybe hes waiting for you to heal him. try healing your dog and then see if that makes a difference. if not. i dont have any advise for you

I had my dog get "stuck" once I just kept spamming throwing the ball all around and eventually he came loose.
