Thats pretty cool, but A how will lionhead know they have cheated, and B what if they just dont transfer the gold?

Ooo nice! i aint gonig to play pub games thaaaat much but i will play it jsut for the sake of having it.. and lose.. all my money.. :'(

cheat= be greedy with dodgy teeth
don't cheat= don't have enough gold to buy everything in the game
you choice!

cheat = get laughed at and humiliated thru the entire game
don't cheat = work your ass off, but will eventually get enough gold to buy EVERYTHING!

I don't plan on playing the games much, if I do I won't cheat, well maybe a very little, if I lose everything.:unsure:

so, if i just delete my cheaters or just dont merge with the cheaters i will be ok? sweet. but what about the patch? are they still taking the exploit out? cuz i wanna have an evil dude with nasty teeth!

Pub games has been a nightmare for me. I'm 80k in debt and rising! And now this!! NOOOOOOOOO!

You don't have to add the pub games. Only if you want to be in debt.;)

Well the original article that suggested that PM said the glitch was intentional was ign.com but it has been mysteriously changed from saying "Just be warned. Molyneux has said that the cheat was no accident and that those who used it to earn their money will be in for a surprise." to now saying "Just be warned. Molyneux has said that they are well aware of the cheat and that those who used it to earn their money will be in for a surprise." It seems that the patch is designed to stop the cheating and most likely you wont be able to transfer over the gold and items without patching first, but you could always play it unpatched till fable 2's releas or use the cache code here http://kotaku.com/5052803/****-pub-games-is-patched--or-is-it

I think this is a good concequence, it really shows consequences are uknown in Fable 2, and that cheating will effect a bad result. Your character could completely reflect on you

Well seeing as the cheat was intentional there is obviously a mechanism implemented that will detect whether you use the cheat or not.

It's not that hard to get around this all you have to do is get a friend to play with you and pay him outrageous cash for being your henchmen then have him do the same to one of your non-cheat characters.....
