More Pokémon Black & White gameplay details have been revealed in CoroCoro Magazine. Yes Japanese mag has gone into further detail on the 3-on-3 battles, the Global Link, Game Sync and news of more differences difference between the two versions.
Starting with those differences. They're not quite as major as yesterday's - the new Pokémon Gochiruzeru and Rankurusu will be version exclusives. As for Black City and White Forest, we already know that they are version exclusive but we have now learnt that they are in the same part of Isshu. Also, the appearance of certain cities will differ from version to version.
We also know how those 3-on-3 battles will work. The positioning of the Pokémon is important as the middle Pokémon can target all three Pokémon while the ones on the wing can only target their opposite Pokémon and the middle one. To have an effective strike, the Pokémon in the middle will need a very powerful attack if it is to hit all the Pokémon. You can switch Pokémon positions during a battle.
As for multi-player battles, we're told that you can use Infrared to join up with a friend in a quick battle. This works with two or four players and you can use the same method to trade on the spot from your box or to automatically exchange friend codes.
In online battles you need to be registered to the PGL to play Rating Mode or Random Match at the global terminal inside the Pokemon Centre. It will send your battle results to a server and then you'll be able to see who is who is really strong.
Then there's the Global Link. This has two modes - one has your Pokémon playing in a dream while the other is an online battling system. We also learn that you can capture Pokémon who are not in the Isshu Dex within this Global Link mode before transferring them back to your game. This can be done in the dream mode but you can only access the Global Link when you have Musharna, the evolution of Munna.
Next up is news of the Game Sync which is accessible through the C Gear. Using this you can send a single Pokémon to a computer and the Dream World where Pokemon have their own rooms to play mini-games with other Pokemon. If your Pokémon becomes friends with other Pokémon in the Dream World, they can be taken back to the real world.
Finally, there's further news on the video chat option that will be available for DSi players and (when it eventually comes out) 3DS owners. It's called the Live Caster and you'll be able to draw on your friend's faces when having a video chat. Also, characters in the game will call you on the Live Caster from time to time.
