Possible Release Date

It's certainly possible. Lionhead themselves have cited that Fable 2 will be released in October so it's very likely that IGN has posted the correct date. I find that IGN is normally pretty accurate with this stuff - especially compared to other gaming websites like GameSpot, 1UP, etc.

yeh, but loads of other sites have different dates. (game - 17th, gamestop - 1st etc.) just have to wait and see!!

Well, I can vouche for Zam Gamestop is saying the 21st also.

IGN has had that date for a while now what I don't get is why we're still speculating on the exact date. Lionhead should of told us by now :'( [/whine]

I'm trying to find the link for it at the moment but can't rightly remember where it was, but apparently in one of the Molyneux interviews, or appearances, he dropped a quick hint about the release date but was seen jotting something down on a piece of paper. Apparently on this piece paper was a date in mid October. I'll look into a bit more and edit what I find into this post ;)

Edit: Wasn't actually an exact date- in one of the Lionhead diaries Molyneux was seen boxing in the word October on a checklist that said build stability etc.

When i pre-ordered my copy at EB i asked the release date and the lady told me October 1st. I'm inclined to go with what a store says as they've gotta know those things to be prepared for the release etc, not saying it couldn't change but that's where my money is.

i dont get it, they told us that its october, so why doesnt LH just tell us the damn date already?!? all this speculation is gonna fry my brain!

I agree with you :P I could just seize up and randomly die from not knowing when it comes out, of course then i'd force my soul back through hell and wherever else to be alive to play fable 2

Hey at least you're not fighting for survival on a rugby field every saturday!!! i don't know if i'm going to live or die!!! just today i got a really bad injury to my back!

And now i can't bend over or sit down without being in pain!!!!

haha, look on the bright side, if you get a leg related injury, you get time off work, and if you were to get it around October........;)

Easily, take a stud to the knee or shin. I accidently broke 3 peoples ankles when i used to play and dislocated someones knee. Had my shin pad snapped in two 3 times as well (back in the days when studs were steel). Also not difficult to tear muscles, football (soccer) is more physical in England than its portrayed in the US and abroad. Our referees let a lot of tackles that would be fouls over there just go over here and tell you to get up. Also those diving idiots in the game but they should all be banned. Only have to catch someone on an ankle joint or knee with a stud and can be career ending injury.

and never forget about poor Norwegian International defender Svein Grondalen had to withdraw from an International after an accident which happened while he was out jogging. He collided with a moose.
