possibly a dumb question

i have watched the story a few times on xboxlive.com to get the items from the chest in the guild cave. however when i check the chest it just says go to .... to get the items. does it have to be a new game to get the items???

No you can still get it with the normal edition I believe. If you have completed the puppet show properly (entered your gamertag and it said it was successful) then the items should either appear in the chest OR somewhere in your world (e.g I found the chicken suit for sale in the bowerstone tailors, the hero doll at the jewllers and the tatoos at various tatoo places).

Actually, you should be able to find it in your chest even if it is opened. When i watch the puppet movie the first time, i went back and opened the chest. I watched it a second time and when i went back to the guild, the chest was still opened but i was able to get the new items from it.

Yeah you should but for some reason it didn't work for me (and a couple of other people).
