Pre Order Questions

So, thers really not much time left to go before Fable 3 releases in Canada but I have a question for the people of these forums. I pre ordered Fable 3 from EB Games (Gamestop) and didn't realize until now of the pre order bonus' and I've looked into it and seen Best Buy's bonus' was a crystal tattoo and a channeler sword and I really like the way they look, as opposed to the stuff from EB Games bonus' does anyone know if it's too late to switch pre order locations so I can get the crystal sword and tattoo set sword? Or would it be too late to switch it up now?

**EDIT**: I forgot to mention, I did not fully pay for the pre order at EB Games either, I only payed partialy
 
I don't think it's too late. Check at Best Buy if you can still order a copy. You've got nothing to lose.

If it's too late, just frantically run around trying to find some Aussie who's getting Garth's sword that's willing to trade codes for the stuff you're getting. That's what I did, except it wasn't very frantic since I asked people a while ago.

Wait, Aussies? So it's just Australians getting that certain pre order bonus or are they "assumed"
And thanks, I will check asap, (Good characters wont match with Reavers sword, Garths looks better :D )
 
It's mostly Aussies getting Garth's sword. Americans buying from Best Buy are the only other people that can get it.
 
Well i would be carefull if you ordered theLE version, some stores a re out of stock already

You're implying that Aussies mostly pre-ordered from JB Hi-Fi... I know for a fact most of the people I know ordered from EB Games, including me
 
Alright, so I just called Best Buy up, I can't pre order the collectors edition BUT, I can pre order the standard edition and upgrade it when I get there. So, I'll be heading there a good 2 to 3 hours early just incase..<3

Not sure if you got this sorted and I am uncertain of Canadian policies relating to deposits but generally companies like Gamestop should allow you a full refund of your deposit/partial payment. Didn't see anyone clarify your partial payment part of your post, so maybe knowing that they should give you a full refund without question could help ^_^
 
I have heard that people are having difficulty pre ordering the limited edition fable III, I guess limited edition indeed meant a limited amount.

At least I pre ordered in late July

their codes may not work for you. at least in the case of xbox live trial cards they specifically design the code so that it only works in the country it's sent to. british codes and american codes don't even have the same number of digits.

I know for a fact that in Ontario at EB you can certainly get all money you put forward to a game back, as long a it's not fully paid off or in credits. Also, several EB people have told me Canada is not selling as many copies as the states, and my EB has only had 31 pre-orders so far. Chances are you're quite likely to get a Limited Edition at Best Buy no problem.

I was was hoping they'd sell a lot so I could get my copy at midnight. I pre-ordered in early May and have been waiting forever!
 
Hopefully I can do this too just preordered standard edition today at gamestop and my plan is to get the game when released,get refund and go to walmart/bestbuy to get limited edition since gamestop isn't offering it anymore....plus this way i get 2 sets of preorder codes

Man, you have no idea how much more excited that made me! Seeing what you wrote took so many worries off my back for it. I thank you and everyone else for helping me out!

so i preordered the game from gamestop and all that and then i redemed my code so now how do i get the sword and the tattoo bc its really anoying and i want to see it and have it
