Pre-Ordering, BUT!

Pre-Ordering, BUT!

Hey guys, I plan on Pre-Ordering Fable 3, BUT is Bestbuy or Walmart gonna be open at midnight, on Oct.25th?, I would like to get it the time/day it comes out, Thanks for the help :)

You can have it shipped to you via mail so that you get it the day it releases, at least through preordering at Bestbuy.com. Also, I know too many people who have had their identity stolen right after preordering or buying anything at walmart.com, so I wouldn't do it there.

Otherwise, Walmarts are typically open 24/7 so you could likely get it there, Best Buys usually open at 10am and don't really do midnight releases.

identity theft for a dam preorder??

it's not just ordering on the site. i only have to WALK INTO a wal mart and i become victim of identity theft, have NO idea who i am! that's because i never go to wal mart. if i ever did, there would be a damn good reason and my identity would remain intact.

never had a problem with them
they will call u to get it the day it comes out
i pre ordered from there

really? they tend to issue the automated phone calls the day before or earlier. very odd!

never happened to me
i live in georgia
and we have one by one of our malls in my town
so its a lil ways down the road from my house
and i am cool with the guys that work there
and one of them calls wtv number u give them and there like ya your next on the pre order list thing and we have your copy ready
something like that
and then u can drive there and pic it up
 
strange! i've never heard of that, though i know there are subtle variations with gamestop between states.
in pennsylvania they send out a prerecorded call around 8 PM the day before the games released. your area may not be as high profit, as they tend to put more funding behind the high profit states and store locations.

i just moved to a state that's probably the highest profit in the country, and the stores are ridiculous. they are huge, all renovated and new looking, have billboards above the registers showing new releases, just superior in EVERY WAY to what i'm used to. the one i worked at only had retro computer monitors because some guys came in and robbed the place... taking a baseball bat to the computers while they were at it.
 
that sounds intense
but ya i agree with the profit idea

in all we have 3 gamestopes in town

one in our really big mall
one on our strip mall
and then there was an ebgames on the strip makk
but gamesstop bought them out obtaining the 3rd store
