Preorder or Not?

Well, I've been seeing that there are some places taking pre-orders for Fable 2 and I was wondering if I should wait until a release date is said? Because I do want to get a limited edition if they do release one, but if they release more than one limited edition like they did with Halo 3, I would want to see my options. So, what do you guys think?

Fable 2 is obviously going to be a groundbreaking game in the RPG genre, but I don't think that is enough to entail the release of several different Limited Editions, as with Halo 3. H3 was a much bigger release, with 10 times the anticipation of Fable 2. But, to address your question, if you really want the LE that bad, I'd wait until they announce a release date.

Same. Also, I'd like to know wether or not they will release a Collector's/Limited Edition worth buying before deciding.

Hmmm, alright. I guess I'll wait. Also seeing as LH themselves have yet to say they are releasing a limited edition at all, it would be stupid to pre-order at such an early state. Thanks guys.

the preorder only costs a few dollars more. I know for a fact i'll be there at midnight for the release so the preorder is worth it.

Hmm, but doesn't anyone remember seeing that video where Peter Molyneux revealed that he knew the exact hour of the games release, and he said 4:30 in the morning O_O

If you acquired over 100 posts before it's officially released, that is.

Personally, I never buy LE or anything else like that. I'm not really a collector of things so I would just go ahead and pre-order the game. Christ, I pre-ordered GTAIV in August 07'! :lol:

From the contest thread...

The winner will be rewarded with either a copy of Fable 2 or a cash reward amounting to $60 USD (Fable 2 will retail for $59.99 USD upon release).

but he said accumulate 100 posts by it's release to win. does that mean everyone with a post count over 100 gets one, or the first person to post 100 times from now?

Yeah, we wish. If that were the case, he wouldn't have enough money to but himself a copy of the game.

Everyone with over a 100 posts will qualify to be entered into the draw to win a copy of the game or a cash reward to the sum of the game supplied by us.

if they do release a limited edition for fable 2 it would be awesome if they had good or editions to choose from the evil will have a replica of the sword of aeons and the good will have a replica of avos tear (ahhh... dreams....)lol

i always thought the cutlass bluetane was the coolest looking sword in that game...
